John Katchur is a highly respected and brilliant guitarist, writer and performer. He was a pioneering force in San Diego's singer-songwriter scene. His San Diego history includes a long-time residency at the original Java Joe’s, collaborations with Jeff Berkley, Calman Hart, Frank Lee Drennen, Dani Carroll and others
His style and technique have inspired countless guitarists and independent artists across the globe. Katchur has played opening sets for such legendary artists as Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Steven Stills, Don McLean, Arlo Guthrie, Bruce Cockburn and many others.
